Scarab Studio Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter The promoter is Scarab Studio, operating out of Cape Town, South Africa. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta (Facebook or Instagram).

2. Eligibility

  • This competition is open exclusively to legal residents of South Africa.

  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • Employees, directors, suppliers, and immediate family members of the Scarab Studio team are not eligible to participate.

3. Competition Period

  • The competition closes officially on 5 June 2026 at 23:59 SAST.

  • Any entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.

4. How to Enter To be entered into the draw, participants must complete all of the following steps on the official Scarab Studio Facebook post:

  • Like the official competition post.

  • Follow the Scarab Studio Facebook page.

  • Tag a minimum of two (2) friends in the comments section of the post.

  • Bonus Entries: Sharing the competition post to a Facebook Story and officially tagging the Scarab Studio page will grant the entrant five (5) additional entries into the draw.

5. The Prize

  • The prize is one (1) Emelyn Coffee Table, valued at R 2,999.

  • The prize is strictly non-transferable, non-negotiable, and may not be exchanged for cash, store credit, or substituted for any other product in the Scarab Studio catalog.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be selected by a random draw from all valid entries received during the competition period.

  • The draw will take place within 48 hours of the competition closing date.

  • The winner will be announced on the Scarab Studio Facebook page and contacted directly via Facebook Direct Message.

  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within seven (7) days of notification, Scarab Studio reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and draw a replacement winner.

7. Delivery

  • The prize will be fabricated at our Montagu Gardens facility.

  • Scarab Studio will arrange and cover standard road freight delivery of the Emelyn Coffee Table to any physical address within South Africa.

  • The promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage sustained during the courier and delivery process.

8. General Conditions

  • By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  • Scarab Studio reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation.

  • The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material across Scarab Studio's digital platforms, including the #scarabstudioZA hashtag, without any further compensation.
